On Saturday, March 29th, the Tournament Host Committee of Greensboro will host a “Tournament Town Goes Downtown Block Party” beginning at 6:00 p.m.
that will feature a concert performance by The Bravery.

The concert will be held in the Hamburger Square area (McGee & Davie) of Elm Street in downtown Greensboro. Admission is free and gates will open at 6:00 p.m. Food and beverage stands will be open for concession purchases.

The “Tournament Town Goes Downtown Block Party” is being held in conjunction with the City of Greensboro’s hosting of the NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Regional (March 30 & April 1) at Greensboro Coliseum.

“ This event is designed to provide a community-wide celebration that showcases our downtown district and demonstrates our community spirit for hosting major college basketball tournaments,” said Tournament Host of Greensboro Committee chairman Dr. Harrison Turner. “This event has been specifically created to showcase Greensboro, North Carolina as an NCAA Women’s Final Four destination with night-life and special event activities to support a major national event.”

Headlining the block party will be The Bravery, whose Top 10 Modern Rock single “Believe,” has been featured on to MTV, MTV2, VH1, and FUSE. “Believe” was also featured for two consecutive weeks in October on MTV’s popular scripted reality drama series The Hills; placements followed on Friday Night Lights, Grey’s Anatomy, Gossip Girl, Moonlight, Las Vegas, Rescue Me and Reaper.

The Bravery’s brand new two-CD configuration The Sun and the Moon Complete will arrive in stores March 18. Disc one (The Sun) will be the original 12-song album (first issued May 2007 and produced and mixed by two-time Grammy Award winner Brendan O’Brien). Disc two (The Moon) will be the album reimagined/reworked by The Bravery.

Two more tracks have also jumped out from the album: “Time Won’t Let Me Go,” the first single, went Top 10 Alternative and was placed on Ugly Betty, Gossip Girl, The Hills, Las Vegas, Rescue Me, One Tree Hill, MTV’s Kaya, and the season finale of The Hills. “The Ocean” was placed on Grey’s Anatomy.
