Westbend
Vineyards, located in Lewisville, North Carolina where the Yadkin
River makes a bend to the west, it is the reference to this area
that gave the Vineyard its name. The lush vineyards are tucked into
the gently rolling countryside in the northwest corner of Forsyth
County, where the Yadkin Valley begins. You will also find wines
named after the "shallow ford" the common place for wagon
trains to cross the river back in the days of the early settlers
of North Carolina.
Westbend
is an Estate Winery, meaning that all its wines are grown, bottled, and
produced wholly from grapes within the estate. Along with its well
designed tasting room and retail area, Westbend offers picnic tables
in a shady gazebo to relax and sip some of their award winning
wines.
