Reenactment of the Battle of Guilford Courthouse
Tannenbaum Historic Park
March 15-March 16, 2008

Visitors can see Guilford County’s colonial past come alive at the 227th Anniversary Observance of the Battle of Guilford Courthouse on Sat. and Sun., March 15 and 16 at 2 pm. More than 250 British and American reenactors encamped at Price Park, just off the New Garden Rd. and Hobbs Rd. intersection, will demonstrate the 1781 battle. Tannenbaum Historic Park and Guilford Courthouse National Military Park will also hold living history demonstrations all weekend.
