Laurel
Gray, our first stop on the Swan
Creek Wine Trail, brings another meaning to the the term "Wine
and Roses". In this particular case it could be "Vines
and Roses", at the roadside edge of the vineyard, Kim and
Benny Meyers have planted a different vareity of tea rose at the
end of every other row of French variety grapes.
Inside
the converted Milk House is a warmly decorated tasting room and
gift shop. Here you are able to taste and purchase Laurel Gray
wines and gourmet chocolates and browse a large. collection of arts
and craft items. The etched wine bottle lights were a particular
favorite of mine. When you visit, take a bottle of wine out to
the patio tables and relax as you enjoy the view of the pond.
